PRAYER
At Marsh Creek Community Church, prayer matters to us. Whether seeking answers, healing, wisdom, or insight, prayer is an important and necessary piece of the puzzle. It connects us with God and the more time we spend in prayer, the more our faith in Him grows.
Our prayer team would love to pray for you. Requests and praises can be submitted through our website. Each and every request is prayed for by members of our prayer team. When you mark your prayer request “Confidential,” only the members of the prayer team see those requests.
For those who feel called to make a difference through prayer, please click the “join our prayer team” button to learn more about how to serve on the Prayer Team.
Also, please take a few minutes to explore our Virtual Prayer Room. There you can really take your time with God, listen, worship, and pray as you are led!
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
CARE
We are also committed to caring for the needs of our church congregation and surrounding communities. Submit a request for yourself or someone you know who could benefit from care in addition to prayer, like meals, financial support and pastoral counseling. Once your needs are submitted, our Leadership Team will review and respond to each request.
If you have questions about submitting a meal request for you or someone else, please reach out to our meal coordinator, Yulia Turner: [email protected]
THE LORD’S PRAYER
“Teach us to pray” Jesus’ disciples asked this and we can too. It doesn’t matter what we already know about prayer. There is always more to learn and experience.
Throughout the gospels, we see how close Jesus is to His Father. We are invited to enjoy some of that same closeness and pray “Our Father….”
Where do you see God when you pray “Our Father in heaven…”? What do you imagine heaven is like?
Discover what it means to ‘hallow’ God’s name.
Are you unselfish enough to pray ‘Thy kingdom come’ and really mean it?
What choices will you make today?
What do you truly trust God will provide every day?
What am I asking God to forgive? Where do I need to forgive?
How will I respond to temptations?
When has God been my strong deliverer, helping me stand against evil? Have I thanked Him?
How do I acknowledge God’s power and glory in my life?
Deepen your relationship with God
The book of Ephesians tells us that God chose us before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. But humans do wrong and are not holy. Because God loves us so much, He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus, and that faith is also a gift from God. Choose to believe.
As a child of God, you are chosen, loved, adopted into God’s family, redeemed, and forgiven. You are God’s handiwork, created to do good works and to praise Him, and He gives wisdom and understanding to know His will.
THE GREATEST GIFT
God gave us the greatest gift of all: He sent His Son to earth to live a sinless life and die in payment for our sins. Now He calls us dearly loved, His chosen ones.
