Deepen your relationship with God
The book of Ephesians tells us that God chose us before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. But humans do wrong and are not holy. Because God loves us so much, He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus, and that faith is also a gift from God. Choose to believe.
As a child of God, you are chosen, loved, adopted into God’s family, redeemed, and forgiven. You are God’s handiwork, created to do good works and to praise Him, and He gives wisdom and understanding to know His will.
receive your new identity - february 2022
Those who believe in Jesus become dearly loved children of God. As His child, you are not condemned; you are forgiven. You are more than a conqueror. Nothing can separate you from His love. You are a new creation in Christ. You have eternal life.
These are God’s promises:
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
John 5:24
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
John 3:16-18
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

listen - january 2022
Have you heard God’s still, small voice? His words of comfort? His promptings? His call?
Hebrews 1:1-2 tells us “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he as spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”
God is still speaking. Learn to recognize his voice. Make time to sit quietly and listen. Shut your door, turn off your phone, close your eyes. Ask God to keep you from distractions and speak to you.
These are God’s promises:

“Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.” Luke 8:18

PRAYER
At Marsh Creek Community Church, prayer matters to us. Whether seeking answers, healing, wisdom, or insight, prayer is an important and necessary piece of the puzzle. It connects us with God and the more time we spend in prayer, the more our faith in Him grows.
Our prayer team would love to pray for you. Requests and praises can be submitted through our website or by completing the tear-off on our bulletin and placing it in the Offering Basket or the Prayer Mailbox in the Lobby. Each and every request is prayed for by members of our prayer team. When you mark your prayer request “Confidential,” only the members of the prayer team see those requests.
For those who feel called to make a difference through prayer, please click the “click here to join our prayer team” button to learn more about how to serve on the Prayer Team.
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
CARE
We are also committed to caring for the needs of our church congregation and surrounding communities. Submit a request for yourself or someone you know who could benefit from care in addition to prayer, like meals, financial support and pastoral counseling. Once your needs are submitted, our Leadership Team will review and respond to each request.
If you have questions about submitting a meal request for you or someone else, please reach out to our meal coordinator, Yulia Turner: [email protected]
